Great Pyramid of Khufu

The Great Pyramid of Khufu is the largest and oldest of the three pyramids at Giza. Built more than 4,500 years ago, it is the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World and remains one of humanity's greatest engineering achievements.

Pyramid of Khafre

Recognizable by the remaining limestone casing at its summit, the Pyramid of Khafre appears taller than the Great Pyramid due to its elevated position. It was built for Pharaoh Khafre during Egypt's Fourth Dynasty.

Pyramid of Menkaure

The smallest of the three main pyramids, the Pyramid of Menkaure is admired for its elegant design and finely crafted granite foundation.

Great Sphinx

Carved from a single block of limestone, the Great Sphinx features the body of a lion and the face of Pharaoh Khafre. It has stood guard over the Giza Plateau for thousands of years.

Valley Temple

Located beside the Sphinx, the Valley Temple was used for the royal mummification process and preserves some of the finest Old Kingdom stone architecture.

Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)
